Horses for Sale and Lease
What is "leasing?" Leasing allows the rider to "rent" a horse for a monthly fee. This horse can be used several times a week as the leaser likes (to a reasonable extent). The leaser is not responsible for vet bills, horse shoe costs, or feed costs, but the horse owner's wishes take priority over the leaser.

When leasing a horse, we will match you with one that best fits your personality, size, and experience level. We have everything from quarter horses, gaited horses, thoroughbreds, and drafts.

Beau is one of our biggest horses available for lease. He is a lover and a snuggler. Don’t mistake him for a mule with his big floppy ears—he’s a horse and a proud one at that! He is known for his red splash known as the “bloody shoulder,” the legendary marking of a warrior's horse!
Beau has taken care of riders from all experience levels, but will do better with someone who is both assertive and kind. He prefers to be neck reined. He has a very smooth trot and an easy, rolling canter. Riding him feels like a gentle tank!.
His favorite things to do are nap in his hammock and play his harmonica.

Flash is a horse I have been in company with all my life. He is a lot of fun—very smart with good energy. He walk, trots, and canters. He neck reins and will do about whatever you ask him to do. He has seen everything there is to see in life and is not spooky.
Flash is particularly gentle with children. He needs a gentle, kind-hearted person to look after him!
He is a good ol' boy, available for all experience levels. His favorite TV shows are The Lone Ranger and Gilligan's Island.

Dorato is a sweetheart and is available for an on- or off-site lease. Her registered thoroughbred name is "Gatto Dorato." She is very talented, quick, smart and has one of the best temperaments of any horse you’ll meet. She's easy and excellent for trail riding, either alone or in a group.
We have put as young as 5 year old riders on, but she’s ready to go as soon as you ask her. She has lots of talent in her and we'd love to see someone as equally talented and kind ride her.
Her favorite flowers are daisies and she does not like apples.

Longines is one of our best-handling horses. He neck reins like a champ. Walking and gaiting is his game. His canter is excellent, but will need a more assertive rider to get him going.
For trail riding, he is a very relaxing, comfortable, and sure-footed guy.
His favorite pastime is photography and he enjoys The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
ONE SHOT

One shot is one of our best horses—he’s kind, easy to handle, and smart. We put the least-experienced, young riders on him. As a show horse in his previous life, One Shot has an unbelievably smooth gait. He neck reins and is very good at "arena work."
In addition, he's a great trail rider, and, for children's sakes, will dutifully follow the next horse without argument.
He is only available for a child or small adult leaser who is not looking to spend time at high speeds.
One Shot loves to watch The Andy Griffith Show and enjoys warm baths.
GAMBLER

Gambler is one of the smartest horses on our property. He can open gates, lids, or anything he can get his mouth on. He will figure out how to open it! He has forced us to tighten security over the years.
Gambler loves to have fun at a walk, trot, or canter. He prefers to ride in a group. He neck reins on the trail, but typically requires a "plow rein" in the arena. He is very safe and handles like a champ.
Available for all experience levels.
Gambler loves sugar cubes and The Avengers.
KOLIE

Kolie is an excellent girl and has the smoothest natural gait you may ever ride. She has a calm mind and remains at a walk unless asked, but her gait and canter are a 10/10.
She is small and younger, so she is available to light riders only. She handles great and is very responsive, but we are still working on her neck reining. She has been primarily ridden in large groups and doesn't have issues with other horses.
Kolie is looking for a closer bond with her rider. She enjoys being "loved on" and is super sweet in return.
Her favorite movie is Cold Mountain and she is a big Nicole Kidman fan.
SAVVY

Savvy is a wild-raised mustang, but don't let her past deceive you! She is now an extremely capable, athletic, and strong performance horse.
Savvy neck reins like a dream, has worked cattle, performed in roping shows, and even worked in a bullpen! This mare is excellent in her transitions from walk, trot, and canter. She's got a blasting-fast gallop as well.
If you're not into arena work, she also has miles and miles of trails under her belt (or girth).
Savvy's favorite TV show is Yellowstone.
